(Clovers and lilacs white, Photomontage of Regina Helena)
(Anima interdicta
in saecula seculorum)
I felt you come blind-folded
into the flanks of my night
bringing me a handful of buds:
roses, clovers and lilacs white.
But, o, poetry,
let’s seal it a secret -
all my captive birds fly
by your passing I saw
though men shall not be granted
the solace of flowers
in our unscripted stone-aged law.
